Boston native Kelly Zutrau studied painting at Cooper Union and Rhode Island School of Design. While in New York City, she met the multi-instrumentalists Joe Valle and Marty Sulkow and formed Wet — releasing their self-titled debut EP in 2014. Now a duo, Zutrau and Valle released their second album, "Still Run," in July 2018. The first single, "There's A Reason," presents Wet's sound in a new, brighter context, pushing Zutrau's lyrics and vocals to the forefront.
As a model, Zutrau has worked with brands including GAP, Barneys, and AllSaints, and frequently collaborates with photographer Brianna Capozzi. She still paints, and her work, ranging from representational to abstract, has been shown in numerous group shows including a recent exhibit at Morán Morán Gallery in Los Angeles.
